Hemostatic device XSTAT 30

The principle of operation of the XStat syringe is based on filling the wound with small cellulose sponges, which are made of wood pulp and covered with chitosan - an antibacterial substance contained in crustacean shells. Chitosan not only fights microbes, but also causes blood clotting.
